The Prayer Walk

is a time-honored way of placing ourselves in the presence of Christ. Like all contemplative spiritual disciplines, the Prayer Walk is a tool that allows us to journey away from the noise and distractions of life into the quiet center of Christ and His Word. The Christ Church Prayer Walk may be found behind the Church Annex on York Road. It is easily accessed via a pathway that runs from the back of York Road Parking Lot toward the Annex. It is open to all.

Through this slow walk along a circular path toward God, we become quiet and attentive.

Here we listen, wait, and adore the Lord Jesus. We bask in the presence of Christ.

From there, we walk back into our world filled with the transforming power of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.
