Adopt-A-Partner Project

The CCOB Sunday school classes (grades 1 -5) have added a new dimension to their weekly Sunday school experience. This year, each class has "adopted" a Christ Church of Oak Brook global partner and family. Through e-mails and letters, the children will get to know their partner's family and ministry; they will learn about the country in which the family serves and will lift up the family's needs in prayer. As the children become active participants in the faith stories of men, women and children who are serving the Lord and fulfilling the Great Commission, they will embrace and celebrate the wondrous works of God in the world today. All the children are anxiously awaiting the visit of their partners for MissionFest weekend in May.
