Vision

What is Our Vision for Global Outreach at Christ Church of Oak Brook?
We as a church want to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the glory of God by catalyzing our members for their destiny in the world. Therefore we seek to develop in each member:

God's Heart for the World
Educate the congregation at all levels about God's love for the peoples of the world, so that we are gripped and motivated by God’s heart for the world; by the glory due his name; by love for our God and our neighbor; and by the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Personal Witness
Equipped for and engaged in personal witness bringing salt & light and grace & truth to our circle of friends.

Every Member A Partner
Provide hands-on experiences which increase congregational involvement and enthusiasm for the outreach enterprise locally (Community Outreach) and globally (GO! Teams).

Global Partnerships
Develop a few key partnerships both locally and internationally that will go to a deeper level of mutual participation.

Outreach Support
Develop people committed to praying faithfully for the work of God in all of the above—personally and/or in a group—for his/her not-yet-Christian friends; for local and global outreach partners; for the work of Christ Church of Oak Brook; and for his/her own unfolding role and calling in the world. Also broaden the base and number of family units giving faithfully to the global outreach program financially.
