| The greatest need in China has always been - Prayer for the Church in China. Nothing is more powerful than the prayers of the righteous people. If the church in China is able to be kept safe - the church could greatly expand after 50 years of experience. Perhaps, you have to understand, it is the prayer of the believers around the world for China that makes the difference. On the other hand, there was almost a total neglect of the church in Taiwan. No one was praying for Taiwan. Now, after 50 years of persecution resulting in China having between 7% to 8% of the population being born again Christians. Yet in Taiwan, after 50 years of freedom, and yet only less than 2% of the population are Christians. What makes the difference? To us, I know it is because of your prayers and the prayer of the believers in China. Please pray for our ministry as we reach out to the orphaned, widows and elderly. These people are all so open to the healing power of the Gospel. Pray for the sick, pray for those to see the signs, wonders and miracles of God's work. This is the number one key in bringing about massive conversions in China. We so appreciate our partnership with Chirst Church of Oak Brook, as together we share the Gospel in Asia. Please continue to pray for China as we pray for you. David is the Director of Asian Outreach International (AOI) in Hong Kong which is an alliance of 26 independent AOI ministries worldwide. The main focus of AOI is the training, launching and serving alongside foot soldiers and church planters who are called to minister to Asian people. Since 1999, over 10,000 were trained and are now serving in Myanmar, Mongolia, Philippines, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Vietnam, China, Thailand, Pakistan, East Malaysia and Bhutan. Sixty percent of the world’s population lives in these various countries. The diversity in culture, language, religion, politics, and philosophies presents a huge challenge to AOI. David is also the Chairman of ActionLove, the social and development arm of Asian Outreach, which seeks to improve the livelihood of the poorest poor in China. In conjunction with AOI/ActionLove, Christ Church is building a partnership with Underground House Church, sponsoring national partners to various areas with in China.
