Jim Rendel’s serves as chief pilot and director of SIMAIR, the aviation arm of SIM in Africa. Sandy works in the SIM office personnel department. Jim flies global partners and supplies to various stations around Niger, often to very remote areas. He is responsible for maintenance of all aircraft as well as flying and scheduling flights. Children of partners are also flown to and from boarding school. The three Rendel children, Jason, Crystal and Scott attend school in Niamey.
