The Haggai Institute, founded by Dr. John Haggai, trains established Christian leaders in Third World countries to return to their countries and train others for leadership in spreading the gospel of Christ. The Haggai Institute has facilitated the training of Christian leaders in over 140 nations and in every Islamic nation, with over 20,000 leaders trained since 1969. It focuses on two areas: How to communicate The Good News of Jesus Christ and how to train other to do the same. This approach to world evangelism, starting from within and beginning at the top, impacts an increasing number of areas which are closed to traditional global outreach presence.
