Eugen is the president and founder of Missio Link International (MLI) and pastor of Bethany Baptist Church and eight other village churches around Timisoara, Romania. Eugen and Mihaela have two daughters: Adelina and Sorina. Through MLI, Rev. Groza leads programs which include Project Deborah for street girls; a Meals-on-Wheels project providing food to shut-in seniors; and a spiritual retreat center for churches. MLI fosters partnership efforts between Romanian and American churches with a goal to plant new churches and serve local communities more effectively. Eugen also has pioneered work among the gypsies and Serbians, as well as building interdenominational relationships with church leaders ranging from Orthodox to Evangelical churches.
