Christ Church began supporting Laura in 2000 when she was serving at the University of Michigan. Following her marriage to Rick Goetsch last summer and a move to Cleveland, we are adding Rick to our missionary team as well. Rick serves as staff coordinator in the Cleveland area and works on Case Western Reserve University campus. Laura works at Case as well as Baldwin Wallace College. They both focus first on growing Christian students into mature disciples of Christ while on campus and for their lives beyond graduation and second on engaging unbelieving students with the gospel, drawing them toward salvation in Christ. Along with area training conferences, summer camps, a return mission trip to Siberia and Urbana 2003, both Rick and Laura invest themselves into students, building the next generation of Christian leaders.
