Jorge, Gail and their two children Cristofer and Daniela live in Bogota where they work with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) in Columbia. Bringing Christ to the universities represents a key to the future of the cities and countries of the world, for today's students are tomorrow's leaders. The majority of Latin American students come from a Roman Catholic background, but few practice their faith. Atiencias aim is to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of university students both in Colombia and with other IFES leaders in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico. Jorge is heading up two key efforts-an intensive training program for student leaders in the northern Latin American and Caribbean area, and the development of a program for training Bible expositors.
