DISCIPLEZONE 10:00 a.m. 1st grade - 5th grade

Children come together every Sunday for worship and a Bible lesson in the Discovery Center. Following large group is small group time where children take part in group activites that reinforce the Bible lesson they just experienced.

Please drop off your 1st - 5th grader at the Discovery Center and pick them up after service in their asigned classroom, which is the same every week.  Classroom are posted in the Children's Ministry hallways.

OUR PASSION, THEIR DISCOVERY
Our passion is to see elementary school students enter middle school eager to discover more about God.  We believe as they experience the wonder of God and are drawn into discovering how He touches every aspect of life, then a passionate faith will grow.  There is nothing more satisfying than young students discovering that their true identity rests in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Sunday School morning for 1st - 5th grades will focus on the same theme whether they come to Celebration Station or DiscipleZone.  However, the approaches to the lesson and the activities are different.

Our curriculum on Sunday morning is based on Three Basic Truths.

These three Basic Truths are based on the Bible verse, Luke 2:52; how Jesus grew up points the way for how we want God’s children to grow up.  
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

Every Sunday morning the children will experience:

A monthly BIBLICAL VIRTUE,

What is a Biblical Virtue?  It is a characteristic that reflects God’s/Jesus’ character, or an appropriate response from us toward God, and that He desires for us to emulate.

A monthly MEMORY VERSE,

a weekly BIBLE STORY, and

a weekly BOTTOM LINE.

Fridge Door cards (for parents):

These are a weekly update for parents that give them the virtue, memory verse, Bible story, bottom line, and a question for kids (and parents) to talk about on the way home or during a meal.  They are meant to be put up on the refrigerator door so they can be seen during the week!

GodTime Cards (for kids):

These are four weekly devotions to focus kids’ attention as they spend time reading the Bible and talking to God at home.  These are designed for older kids to do on their own and for younger kids to do with a parent.
