Volunteer Opportunities in Prayer and Care Ministry

Care Trainer and Coach – teach Christian care-giving to members and friends of the congregation and / or coach supervision groups of care-givers or coach support group facilitators
Caring Christian Friend / Stephen Minister – learn to offer Christian care to someone in need on a regular and personal level in a midsize community or ministry team, the congregation, or surrounding community at large
Lay Visitation minister – learn to visit those hospitalized or seniors in their homes or care facilities (flexible -- could be ½ or 1 day a week or a month or only specific hospitals and care facilities)
Healing Prayer & Communion service team – learn to pray about God’s healing in every aspect of life
Inner Healing Prayer Minister
Prayer & Care minister – be available to pray with people after morning worship services
Prayer & Care ministry Coordinator -- Coordinate, train & encourage prayer ministers, lead the ongoing development of this ministry
Funeral Coordinator -- Work with ministry assistants Lorri Winter and Diane Gibbons (for each funeral accepted offer 3-6 hours of service primarily on the actual day of the funeral)
