Adult Choral Ensembles are formed from members, as well as regular attenders of Christ Church. Membership of Christ Church is NOT a requirement for Ministry membership! Our two primary Ministry choirs rehearse regularly for weekly worship and special events throughout the church year. Chancel Choir is the main musical organization of Christ Church. It is open to adults including college and high school ages (ages 14 and up). We provide music for the Sunday morning classic services at 10:00am and 11:30am, for special services during the holiday seasons, and weekly television and radio broadcasts as needed. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Ability to match pitch and learn a part is required. Guests are always welcome to come and observe a rehearsal with no obligation to join. Interested? Chamber Singers is an advanced mixed choral ensemble for the experienced Christian musician. The Chamber Singers sing concerts and special services occasionally, including Ash Wednesday and our beloved Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols, as well as a spring concert featuring sacred and secular selections. Their repertoire ranges from early music through classical, jazz and current sacred choral music. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. We are currently seeking tenors and basses for this ensemble.
