What is 412?
412 Ministries is a group of college and young adults in the Greater Chicagoland area learning to live and love like Jesus Christ. Our students and young adults come from the work force, DePaul University, Elmhurst College, Wheaton College, University of Illinois, Purdue University, Valpraiso University, College of DuPage and many more!
412 is based off 1 Timothy 4:12 (412...get it?), that says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.” We believe this verse embodies what college students and young adults should strive for in life. The example you set for your friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances can make a lasting impact on their life and yours! WEEKLY GATHERING
We meet at 6:30 p.m. on Sundays in Student Center 2. It is a time for the college and young adult community to come together and socialize, enjoy free food, engage in Bible study, group discussions, and hear a messages on current life issues facing the college and young adult lifestyle. We occasionally have guest speakers visit and teach on topics that are relevant in your life.
ACTIVITES
Throughout the year, we offer a variety of social events where you can spend time with friends, meet new ones, and just have fun! These activities include bowling nights, concerts, dinners together, and day trips to local attractions, just to name a few. Also, every summer we take a camping/canoeing trip called Summer Adventure.
