I am Mariama Charlie born by typical muslim parents, I was taught to read the Quran and live by its teachings. After graduating from college in 2004, I started working with a Christian organization in kabala town as a social worker where I met Reverend John Phiri who preached to me the good news about the Lord Jesus and later led me to pray the sinner's prayer. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior and my life became changed, thank God for his grace. Today I no longer do the things I used to do; I can read the Bible and interpret it to others. I feel relaxed and confident in whatever I'm doing compared to my original upbringing. God has saved my life from eternal condemnation to eternal life through Jesus Christ and I will live to praise His name.
