Words of encouragement from our broadcast audience...

~ "When I was declared disabled two years ago, I became reliant on TV’s Sunday program from The Pulpit of Christ Church. This brought me peace and courage to face the week ahead. I have always enjoyed Christ Church of Oak Brook having worked for many years for a gentleman who was a founding member with Dr. DeKruyter. Please keep the program going as I have recommended it to others who are homebound." – LaGrange, IL

~ "I look forward to Sunday morning at 9:00 AM Rev. Meyer has so much good to pass on – It is the best time of the week. Thank you so much and God Bless." – Chicago, IL

~ "Three years ago my husband was diagnosed with cancer; he went to his heavenly home June 30th this year. When unable to go to church we received a blessing out of everyone of Pastor Meyer’s sermons on TV. They are relevant to these times, making the scriptures live and beneficial to today! I plan to continue hearing the services before I go to church on Sundays. Every Sunday starts with my listening to your 5:30 broadcast on WGN. I marvel at your messages and your presentation – so relevant and topical. I’m not certain, but I think I’ve listened to this program for nearly 20 years. I hope your not considering discontinuing your broadcast. I would watch your TV program but I teach Sunday School and I am not home." – Chicago, IL

~ "Every Sunday, for several years now, we get our weekly battery charged by tuning in to the Pulpit of Christ Church & Pastor Dainiel D. Meyer. While recovering from 2 colon cancer surgeries I also was blest with being able to listen to and see Pastor Meyer. He made our faith in Christ Stronger and deeper. We look forward each Sunday for Pastor Meyer’s visit to our home via WGN. We pray this will never end"– Indian Head Park, IL~ "My Interest in The Pulpit of Christ Church is for members of my family who are unable to attend church. My husband and I appreciate your messages on Sunday. So we encourage others to tune in on TV The messages heard have been a blessing to them and so we find ourselves contributing our financial resources for your broadcast. Continue your fine work in church on radio and TV." – Plainfield, IL

~ "Dear Pastor Meyer, This letter is late; but better late than not at all! I’ve watched Christ Church for almost 20 years on and off. I admired Rev DeKruyter; the founder very much. Once back in the 1980’s I tried to get to your church but got lost. I was on foot! Now I’am very ill and need a heart transplant. So I don’t know if I’ll ever get there, to see the church. Please say hi, to Rev. DeKruyter next time you speak with him, wish him well from me. The reason fo0r writing today is: your Christian sacrament of Communion in which bread and wine are consecrated into the body and the blood of Christ; in embrace of the passion and death he endured on Calvary. I was impressed by your presentation of the Eucharist, where your parish people happy with the occasion? I thought you did a very good job presenting it! How often do you have Holy Communion; each Sunday, monthly, on holidays only? In conclusion it is a wonderful thing you’ve instituted at your church and wanted to tell you how happy I was to see it, for Christ sake…your doing a fine job with all aspects of the church. I know people are finding fulfillment in that church and that is what God wants. Keep up the good work. Thanks again."– Elmwood Park, IL

~ "I wanted to write and say I really receive much food for thought from your sermons. I ask that I be included in your prayer list. I am going through very hard times. I was recently divorced, I also filed bankruptcy, and my ex-wife is trying to take my home from me. This home has been in my family since 1920. I would also like the phone number of your counseling line. Again I ask you and your church to pray for me. Thank you and God Bless." – German Valley, IL

~ "The Pulpit of Christ Church has been an inspiration and a challenge to me. Thank you for this ministry and I know that it must be touching many lives as it has touched mine. Please keep up the good work. Thank you." – Radio Listener

~ "Dear Pastor Dan, I listen to your broadcast every Sunday and am spiritually blessed. I would like a copy of last Sunday’s sermon “The Crack in the Cosmos” I would like to share it with my friends. I live in a retirement home and am confined to a wheel chair, so you have become my family church. May God bless you." – South Holland, IL

~ "I enjoy your delivery of God’s messages. Very timely! Keep up the good work." – Antioch, IL

~ “I sleep with my radio beside me. When I was young I watched Christ Church being built brick by brick and have been inspired by many sermons and spread the word to many friends. I am recuperating from a broken hip and the radio is my comfort and your messages inspire me as I try to pass the word of Christ to many others. I pray for your ministry.” -Westmont, IL

~ “Your Sunday morning services on WGN radio and PAX TV continue to be inspirational and a great comfort to me. We are truly blessed to have these services broadcast in our area. Your sermons are always Bible related and very much like the teaching in my own Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. I pray that our Lord shall continue to bless you and the great service you and your congregation provide.” - Woodstock, IL

~ “The enclosed contribution is to demonstrate my support for your Sunday morning sermons. Your messages truly reflect today’s times and how people should live their lives.” - Chicago, IL
