A discipleship journey, anchored in community:

    • mentor group: Centered around an adult mentor and 2-4 high school students, walking together as a small group. It is all about relationship - with God and one another.
    • mentor group journey: Each group meets @ Koinonia in the 2nd half small gruop time slot to check-in with one another, complete a section of our "Guidebook" and pray together.
    • four doors of opportunity: Each Confirmand has the opportunity to walk through four doors to further explore, deepen his/her faith. Each door is based on one of the four ways that we tend to connect with God. These "doors" are outlined on the Journey Itinerary. Find more on the four doors HERE (pdf).
    • Students enter our Mentor-Based Confirmation Adventure either as an Inquirer or a Journeyer:

Our hope and prayer is that our Confirmands would emerge from this faith journey as a disciple of Christ -- deeply in love with Jesus Christ and deeply connected to our high school core community. The faith journey of a disciple of Jesus Christ is not to be one of isolation but one of community, as we walk alongside each other, seeking to develop a deeper connection to Christ and to one another. Our goal is that students would be "velcroed" to God and to our community of students who desire to worship, grow and serve as disciples of Jesus Christ.

    * While 9th grade students comprise the majority of students on this faith journey, Confirmation is open to all high school students.
